About Roswell Community Disaster Relief
Our History
The Roswell Community Disaster Relief was founded in November 2017 by Enrique Moreno, a Roswell native dedicated to creating a platform for local volunteerism. His vision was to build an organization from scratch to equip residents with the tools, support, and experience needed to respond effectively in times of crisis.
Since its inception, the organization has made a significant impact in the community by identifying needs and mobilizing volunteers quickly. They ensure that anyone wishing to contribute can do so in a safe environment, backed by comprehensive support and resources.
Today, the organization boasts a robust following of over 19,000 members on social media and has gained recognition from both local and national news outlets, such as the New York Times, Univision, and Televisa. These platforms have highlighted their valuable contributions during disasters, reinforcing their role as a trusted source of information and assistance in their service area.
The Roswell Community Disaster Relief is an unincorporated organization run 100% by local volunteers who offers all their services free to the public.
